Harry Potter signed by J.K. Rowling to be auctioned on Ebay

J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series, donated an autographed set of the seven books to the XP Support Group to auction on Ebay. Ms. Rowling learned about the charity through Kate Middleton whose seven year old son David has XP. XP is Xeroderma Pigmentosum. It is a rare genetic disorder that causes people to be very sensitive to the sun’s ultraviolet rays.

The author had presented David with quite a few gifts for the XP Support Group. It is the third charity to benefit from her generosity. The Ebay auction will be held from Sunday, November 30, at 8:00pm, to Sunday, December 7.
